Trinidad and Tobago dollar (TTD)

The Trinidad and Tobago dollar (ISO code: TTD, symbol: TT$) is the official currency of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, issued by the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago. Established in 1964 to replace the British West Indies dollar at par, it is subdivided into 100 cents. The currency shifted from a fixed sterling link to a floating system in 1993, though its exchange rate is heavily managed relative to the United States dollar.
