Djiboutian franc (DJF)

The Djiboutian franc, designated by the code DJF, is the official currency of Djibouti. First issued in 1949 under French colonial administration to replace the CFA franc, it is currently managed by the Central Bank of Djibouti. Since 1973, the Djiboutian franc has been officially pegged to the United States dollar at a fixed rate, ensuring currency stability and supporting the nation's key role in international shipping trade.
