Microliter (µl)
The microliter, represented by the symbol µl or μL, is a metric unit of volume equal to one millionth of a liter (10⁻⁶ L) or one cubic millimeter (1 mm³). As a decimal submultiple of the SI-accepted liter, it is indispensable in biochemistry, clinical diagnostics, pharmacology, and molecular biology.
