Milliliter (ml)

A milliliter (symbol: ml) is a metric unit of volume equal to one thousandth of a liter, or exactly one cubic centimeter (0.000001 cubic meters). Introduced alongside the metric system in late eighteenth-century France, the milliliter provides a fine-grained scale widely applied in chemistry, medicine, pharmacology, and everyday food packaging.
