Deciliter (dl)
A deciliter (symbol: dl) is a metric unit of volume equal to one tenth of a liter, or 100 cubic centimeters (0.0001 cubic meters). It is a standard unit in European culinary recipes for measuring liquid ingredients and dry goods, as well as in clinical laboratory medicine to express concentrations of blood solutes such as glucose and hemoglobin.
